Use Harmony in a browser
Sign in on this website, or install it as a web app where your browser allows, to supervise Harmony Cloud on the same account. Not a desktop replacement, and not a native store app.
Use this when you are away from the computer that runs Harmony, and you want to watch Cloud work on the account you already have.
Outcome: you can open Harmony in a browser tab, install it as a web app where the browser permits that, sign in, and reach Cloud jobs. You will also know what this path does not do.
PREVIEW
The website and its optional web app already exist. Native iPhone and Android apps are in development and are not available from the App Store or Play Store. Do not wait for a store badge on this site.
What this is
| This path | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Browser tab at this website | Sign in, billing, Cloud jobs, docs |
| Installed web app (PWA), where the browser offers it | The same site, opened from an icon, without browser chrome when the OS allows |
Harmony desktop / nala | The local workspace on your computer — still the product |
It is the same Harmony account and backend, not every Harmony feature on a phone. Local terminals, the daemon, MCP, voice, and agent panes stay on the desktop (or TUI/CLI) you already installed.
Harmony Cloud is optional hosted compute. Model access stays on your provider subscription, signed in inside a workspace — Harmony does not resell tokens. Current Cloud prices live only on the pricing page.
Before you start
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| A Harmony account | Only for Cloud and the website. Local Harmony never needs one. Sign in |
| A network | Sign-in and live job status need a connection |
| A supporting browser | Install is offered by the browser, not by Harmony. If there is no install control, keep using the tab |
1. Open the website
On the phone or computer you have with you, open ideharmony.com and sign in.
Signed-in account pages start at /account. The installed web app is
configured to open there too.
Expected result: you reach sign-in or, if you are already signed in, your account and Cloud jobs.
2. Install it, if the browser offers that
Installation is optional. A tab works. Harmony never blocks sign-in behind an install prompt.
These steps follow current browser documentation
(MDN: installing web apps,
web.dev: installation).
Wording in the browser menu can differ (Install, Install app, Add to Home Screen).
iPhone and iPad (Safari)
There is no automatic install banner on iOS. Add it yourself:
- Open this site in Safari (not an in-app browser).
- Tap Share.
- Tap Add to Home Screen (you may need to scroll the share sheet).
- If you see Open as Web App, turn it on.
- Tap Add.
On iOS 16.4 and later, some other browsers also expose Add to Home Screen from their Share menu. Safari remains the reliable path.
You may need to sign in again from the new icon. That is expected: the installed icon is a separate window, not a copy of an already-open Safari tab.
Android (Chrome)
- Open this site in Chrome.
- If Chrome shows Install or Install app, use that.
- Otherwise open the Chrome menu (⋮) and choose Install app or Add to Home Screen.
- Confirm.
On many phones with Google Play services, Chrome may install a WebAPK (an icon in the app launcher). Other Android browsers often add a home-screen shortcut instead. Both open this website; neither is a Play Store listing.
Computer (Chrome or Edge)
- Open this site in Chrome or Edge.
- Look for the install icon in the address bar, or Install Harmony in the browser menu.
- Confirm.
Firefox does not install this app from a manifest without extra software. Use a tab, or Chrome/Edge, or Safari’s Add to Dock on recent macOS.
If nothing offers install: keep using the tab. That is a complete path.
3. What you can do after sign-in
Signed-in pages live under /account. The Command Center on this website is
the control surface (Jobs, Cloud, Usage, Secrets, and New job). These are
the routes the site already ships:
| What you open | Route |
|---|---|
| Jobs (hosted workspaces) | /account/workspaces |
| New job | /account/workspaces/new |
| One job | /account/workspaces/<id> |
| Cloud plan | /account/cloud |
| Usage | /account/usage |
| Secrets | /account/secrets |
| Billing | /account/billing |
| Devices | /account/devices |
| Account | /account |
| Sign in | /login |
On a job page, Steer this job sends a live request to the server — it needs a network:
- Send a follow-up into the same prompt queue the desktop uses
- Pause — keeps the machine and its files, and stops spending Agent Hours
- Resume — uses hours
- Stop task — ends the current task; the machine stays
- Delete this job — destroys the workspace after you type its name
On the Jobs list you can also Pause, Resume, Keep awake / Let it sleep, stop all running jobs, or delete a workspace.
Treat the web app as supervision of hosted work, not as the place you run a local coding agent.
4. Offline, refresh, and what is not stored on the device
If the device cannot reach Harmony, account navigation shows a public connection-unavailable page. That page does not show saved job activity and does not confirm whether a Cloud task is running or finished.
- Account HTML, cookies, and API responses are not cached for offline use.
- Commands are not queued on the device to replay later.
- When you reconnect, reload the page (or use Try again on the offline screen). Live status is whatever the server returns after that.
A banner in the account shell may tell you that you are offline. That is a warning, not a local command inbox.
Native apps
Native iOS and Android apps are in development. They are not a current download on this site, and this page does not link to the App Store or Play Store. Until those apps ship, the browser and optional web app are the phone path for Cloud supervision.
If something goes wrong
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| No install button | Use the tab. On iPhone, confirm you are in Safari and look under Share |
| Icon opens Safari chrome | On iPhone, Add to Home Screen from Safari; turn on Open as Web App if shown |
| Signed out after install | Sign in from the new icon |
| Stale job status | Reconnect, then reload. Do not assume a backgrounded web app kept a live snapshot |
| Wanted the desktop app | Download Harmony — free, local, no account |
